The Canvas Prints offered here at Sacredart are reproductions of my work (Neil W Cave) plus the work of other selected artists from around the world, and are exclusive to this website.

The canvases themselves are of the highest quality "museum grade", and can be ordered in various sizes. Orders are dispatched within seven days*, and delivery is charged at a set price of just £5.00 per order, no matter which size or how many canvases you order**

I outsource the manufacturing of the canvases to Procanvas, a local company whose canvas prints are of a quality which is second to none. They are produced using the latest wide format fine art printers, and the inks are guaranteed lightfast for 75 years. They really are very nice..

The 450gsm canvas meets the archival standards set forth by the 'Fine Art Trade Guild'.

The stretcher bars are finger jointed solid pine, specially manufactured from managed UK forests. The frames have a depth of 1.0" (2.5cm), and the images are "gallery wrapped" allowing for frameless presentation. All frames with one length over 30" (76cm) have brace bars inserted.

Two coats of Museum Grade Matte Varnish are applied. This provides protection from scuffs and moisture. You are then able to wipe the canvas with a slightly damp cloth if required. The veneer also prevents the print from cracking.

Framing tape and felt bumpers are added for a quality finish. Wooden wedges are inserted so the canvas can be re-tensioned in the future if necessary.

*Time required for curing. All canvases are printed using the highest quality printing techniques. Printer, canvas, ink and coating manufacturers specify a minimum time for the ink and coating to cure, and it is not possible to speed this process up without compromising quality. Also, many manufacturers commonly use the quick heat sealing method for protection, but I prefer the superior quality finish of museum grade matte varnish. The extra time taken in production is necessary for this highest quality finish, and I think worth it for an appreciably superior product.
